Resident Fishing Licenses

Annual Regular Fishing License
For persons 16 years of age or older. Parental/legal guardian signature required at the time of purchase.

For persons 12 through 15 years of age. Parental/legal guardian signature required at the time of purchase.

For persons 65 years of age or older with 5 years of continuous Nevada residency.

“Take Me Fishing” 1-Day Group Fishing Permit
Valid until midnight of day specified. At least one member of the group must be a bona fide resident of Nevada pursuant to NRS 502.015. “Group” means a group of persons consisting of at least one primary adult (18 years of age or older) and one child (12-15 years of age). Only available online at www.ndow.org and at regional offices.

Annual Serviceman Fishing License
For Nevada resident serviceman on active duty who are stationed outside of Nevada. Must show duty or leave papers at the time of purchase.

Annual Severe Disability Fishing License
For persons with a severe physical disability which materially limits gainful employment. First-time applicants must submit an application available from NDOW, and supporting documentation of the disability before the license can be issued. Issued at NDOW offices only.

Annual Native American Fishing License
For resident Native Americans. First time applicants must contact a Nevada tribal council to complete the certificate of eligibility before the license can be issued. Issued at NDOW offices only.

Annual Disabled Veteran Fishing License
For veterans residing in Nevada for six months or longer who have incurred a 50 percent or more service-connected disability. First-time applicants must submit an application available from NDOW along with supporting documentation of the disablity before the license can be issued. Issued at NDOW offices only.

(For Nevada Licenses) used for fishing on the bi-state waters or the Arizona shores.
